Following on from the partnership between Bet365 and Pragmatic Play established earlier this year with the live casino offering and slots catalogue, Pragmatic Play are now providing the top ranking gambling site’s bingo rooms.
Bet365 are currently offering the bingo lobby powered by Pragmatic Play to UK bingo players , however there are plans to extend the accessibility to its lobbies to other countries, once they have bedded in.
Bet365, being one of the world’s leading gambling platforms with high quality customer experience across its whole catalogue from sportsbook to slots to bingo, this truly marks a huge leap for the guys at Pragmatic Play. They have certainly stepped up a gear with this landmark agreement.
Interestingly Bet365 had been in a comfy longstanding relationship with Virtue Fusion (Playtech), providing its bingo platform since 2008, so this is quite a move really.
Claire McDaid, VP of Bingo at Pragmatic Play, said:
“Partnering with a powerhouse like bet365 represents a considerable milestone in our development of the sector. We are honoured that such a highly regarded and reputable brand has joined the Pragmatic Play Bingo network.
“Pragmatic Play’s breadth of content needs little introduction to today’s discerning players and as such, we’re delighted to be able to offer its Bingo portfolio as well as its Slots.
What Has Happened To Virtue Fusion?
Virtue Fusion (Playtec) seem to be at a bit of a crossroads right now. We mustn’t take away their years of successes and long standing quality products, however there have been some grumblings over the last few years.
Going back to 2020, Virtue Fusion took the decision to stop offering full white label services with their own gambling registrations and only focused on offering third party services. This being where they provide the software, bingo rooms etc. and the site has their own license.
Why? Because it has become increasingly harder for white labels to operate with the ever tightening regulations. Bet365 was using this partnership all along, so wasn’t really effected.
Virtue Fusion (Playtech) have offloaded a lot of white labels and subsequently made little investment in this area of their business. Perhaps they have strategic plans to move away from bingo altogether?
We also need to consider other movements in the sector which will naturally have an impact across all big gambling providers and their strategic decisions. This being Entain buying out Cosy Games and rebranding as Electraworks. Then we had Coral and Ladbrokes move onto that network in a similar vein to Bet365’s recent redirections.
What Games Can You Play At Bet365 Bingo Now?
They will offer classics such as 90 and 75 ball. This might have their own branding like other sites do so will feel fairly exclusive. They will offer innovative Drop Pots which is an excellent bingo variant.
Right now there is Pumpkin Blast because of the season we are in, their may change to snowball blast for xmas. In addition they will offer the upcoming game, Diamond Dazzle which we are super looking forward to playing.
The games are just as good, but of course players have been used to other ways of doing things for over 13 years!
Bet365 Bingo Players Being A Bit Miffed
While the games now offered at Bet365 are some of best out there, of course players are going to be a bit annoyed about the change. Bingo players are creatures of habit, playing bingo at the same time each week or even day, growing confident in using the bingo lobby which means they can fully focus on the bingo offering.
They also need to get their head around the rooms not just being exclusive to bet365 customers. Now they are accessing rooms that are available to others playing at other sites. I guess this is like a bingo hall suddenly changing its schedule and expanding. Probably will ruffle a few feathers and Bet365 might see a reduction in player numbers because of the move initially.
