Undoubtedly one of the most innovative bingo providers in the industry, Pragmatic Play came out of nowhere to sew up a section of the market at speed.
Perfectly positioned for the modern online bingo industry, Pragmatic Play fills a gap left by all the old white label providers, while keeping their interests B2B so they can focus all their efforts on the product. They don’t run sites of their own, but they provide a network of fresh, modern bingo games to operators big and small.
They are also the default bingo provider for all Jumpman Gaming bingo sites, and they have a lot of sites. Coupled with their suite of slot games numbering in the hundreds, not to mention live casino capabilities, Pragmatic Play can do everything.
New Bingo Sites on the Pragmatic Play Network

Jumpman Gaming Network Sites
Since 2020, the Jumpman Gaming network dropped their own network and began running Pragmatic Play bingo games instead. How’s that for a vote of confidence?
Pragmatic games are licensed to all Jumpman sites, and this means a bigger community and better prizes as you are not just playing against others on the Jumpman Network, but against players on Pragmatic Play rooms everywhere.
You can see some of the best Jumpman sites running on Pragmatic’s network below.

Company History

Although officially launched in 2015, Pragmatic Play’s history goes back a lot further than that.
It started in 2007 with TopGame Technology, an online casino operator and game developer. This was in the days before proper regulation, and despite a strong start, by 2015 TopGame’s reputation was in tatters.
They operated in unregulated markets, their payments were slow, the games were dated and still Flash based when the rest of the world had moved on to HTML5. They were the igaming equivalent of an overgrown garden.
However, there was a lot worth salvaging, so an investment company called IBID Group (Internet Business Investment and Development) bought them out. They then set about rebuilding the legacy games in HTML5, overhauled the staff, and only operated in regulated markets.
They would also need to rebrand though in order to escape TopGame’s reputation, and thus Pragmatic Play was born.
Pragmatic Play Ltd is still owned by the IBID Group, and although they are a fairly secretive outfit – based in Gibraltar with satellite bases around the world – their management of Pragmatic has been exemplary.
The founder and managing partner, David Barzilay is understood to have began his career in the online casino industry as CFO of one of 888 Group’s white label brands, so there were some serious people behind the wheel.
Gambling software and casino licenses were awarded in 2017 by the UKGC, and there were no domains recorded before then, which means the company spent a considerable amount of time and effort putting the foundations in place before relaunching.
Pragmatic Play quickly gained contracts with some enormous companies, including William Hill, SkyBet, and Entain, and even won the Software Rising Star category at the 2017 EGR B2B Awards.
Launching a Bingo Network
Bingo had never been a feature of Pragmatic Play or TopGame, but that changed in 2018.
Officially launched in the autumn of 2019, Pragmatic Play’s bingo product was first revealed to industry professionals at the world renowned iGaming show, ICE in London, in February 2018.
When it was finally rolled out it was revealed that Nektan would be using Pragmatic’s network across their many sites. This meant Pragmatic Play hit the ground running as Nektan had in excess of 160 sites at the time.
Nektan’s license was suspended a few years later, and the company folded, but by then Pragmatic had already agreed deals with the likes of Jumpman, and others. Plus, Grace Media, who took over a group of Nektan’s sites, stuck with Pragmatic, as did others.
They even snapped us Bet365 as clients – the biggest independent online gambling company in the world.
What the Pragmatic Play Network is Like From a Player Perspective
Like everyone else these days, Pragmatic Play have optimised their games and interface to be mobile first.
More people now play by mobile than ever before, so this makes perfect sense, but rest assured that the desktop experience does not suffer. It’s just as good.
The interface allows for smooth navigation and excellent functionality, with plenty of personalisation options for operators to make each site on the network feel distinct.
Some sites using Pragmatic Play have their own websites and just plug into the network, but all use the same bingo lobby, and it won’t cause you any trouble.
In terms of the games, Pragmatic Play initially only offered 90 ball, 80 ball and 75 ball bingo, though later added 50 ball and 30 ball bingo, creating one of the most competitive bingo product offerings out there.
Some are designed for speed, such as Bingo Blast, specifically aimed at mobile players on the move, and others, like the Heavyweight and Super Heavyweight rooms are only open sporadically but offer much larger prizes than usual. These are headline games that people look forward to.
There are some games that are totally unique as well, such as Animingo and Diamond Dazzle. These are based on bingo but have added features that are nothing to do with the traditional game. It’s interesting, it’s fresh, it’s exciting.
Operators can even request their own games, or at least brand the existing ones to their site. This is only really done by bigger brands such as Bet365 who have the resources for it, but it means not all Pragmatic Play network experiences are the same. There is variety within the network, and that’s fantastic. It means you can enjoy a change of scenery without leaving your favourite network.
Each room has a chat box to, with chat hosts regularly talking to players, telling jokes, and generally keeping the mood light. There are also loads of mini games available, and the interface allows for up to 3 rooms to be played at the same time, with tickets available to buy up to a month in advance.
It’s a dynamic and engaging setup full of well thought out features that players love.
